Coming from a musical family, Jason started playing drums at age six when family friend and legendary drummer, Louie Bellson gave Jason his first drumset. Over the past thirty years, Jason has performed/recorded with such jazz luminaries as Ben Monder, Kei Akagi, Larry Goldings, Dave Douglas, Darek Oles, Larry Koonse & Maynard Ferguson. Jason teaches at CSUN, UCIrvine & Musicians Institute.
